Typewriter Museum

The museum, one of a kind, hosts a collection of over 300 typewriters in pristine condition. They have all been restored and are in full working order.

The collection, carefully put together by the passionate Domenico Scarzello, boasts typewriters from every period and every corner of the world: United States, Canada, Europe, former Soviet countries, Japan and Northern Africa. They date from 1873 to the birth of the computer.

A special area – it how could it be otherwise – is devoted to Olivetti, the first Italian typewriter factory.

Domenico Scarzello is president of the Association of Italian Typewriter and calculating machine Collectors.
